Hello ! Ikko Tanaka

This retrospective exhibition at SPACE 27 showcased over 100 selected posters and design works by Japanese graphic designer Ikko Tanaka (1930 - 2002), including Seibu, MUJI and Issey Miyake. His distinctive design is known for his bold composition, meticulous use of colour, and superb visual communication skills. The works reinvent Japan's traditional aesthetics through modern design language, and he was one of the first Japanese designers being active overseas and highly regarded by the international design community.

CHÁN BY ALAN CHAN Oriental Tea Perfume Collection

CHÁN BY ALAN CHAN Chinese Tea Perfume Collection, a collaboration between legendary French perfumer Maurice Roucel and designer Alan Chan, will be exclusively launched in Hong Kong. The fragrance packaging designed by Alan himself comes with an ‘East Meets West’ touch with specially designed ribbons wrapped bottle and hand-made wooden case crafted in Japan, inspired by Japanese Zen aesthetics and made two signature tea flavors - Pu'er Tea and Osmanthus Earl Green Tea.

The first Graphic Trial in Hong Kong

Co-presented by Gallery 27 and Toppan, first Graphic Trial Hong Kong Edition is curated by Alan Chan and will be showcasing 18 designers along with 90 posters from 10-18 June 2017 at Space 27. We are honoured to have two master designers who are participated as well - Mr. Katsumi Asaba and Mituso Katsui to join the opening.
