After 3 years study of ingredients found in Yunnan’s 500 year-old Pu’er tea trees, the Cha Ling flagship store in HKRI Taikoo Hui, Shanghai captures the perfect balance between French and Chinese craftsmanship.

With an “Oriental passion, Western harmony” modern design philosophy, a unique contour-shaped product display and serving tables highlight Cha Ling products on meticulous display, a tribute to an authentic Chinese art de vivre. The display and servicing tables resemble the tea terrain in Yunnan as shown on the kinetic logo and instills a sense of dynamism and liveliness at the center of the store.

The customized wall display unit is the backdrop for telling the brand story of Cha Ling with calligraphy ink landscape painting, while key brand elements are etched on the transparent bricks reflecting the iconic Chinese architectural features.

These proprietary design elements become a unique visual dialogue for all senses by celebrating authentic Chinese art de vivre in a globally recognizable language.
