    "MY JAPLAN" in Kyoto

    04 May 2018

    "MY JAPLAN" in Kyoto

The exhibition entitled "MY JAPLAN" by Alan Chan will be opening soon in Kyoto after its tour from Tokyo in late January to February and Hong Kong in April, which showcases Alan’s art and design projects in Japan and collaborative projects with Japanese designers since 1980s. As the first Hong Kong designer who entered the Japanese market in the 80’s, Alan has become the key bridge to connect Japan's design field. Those urban landscape, design and cultural atmosphere, and traditional craftsmanship and wisdom in Japan have profoundly influenced Alan’s creative career. Therefore, Alan hopes that through the "small" exhibition, young designers can better understand the design and historical links between Hong Kong and Japan.
